U.S. immigration officials arrested controversial British far-right commentator Milo YiannopoulosΒ on Thursday in New Orleans, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer charged with shooting a man and lying about it during the immigration crackdown in Minneapolis was released from a Texas jail Thursday, after a judge refused to order his return to Minnesota.
Texas and Florida accounted for nearly 20,000 of the July arrests. The agency has been bolstered by billions of dollars from Congress and has hired 12,000 new deportation officers and agents.
