Pamela Cisneros was killed by the police in Times Square after she stabbed two people, one fatally. Her father said she had stopped going with him to her mental health appointments.
The New York Police Department made public the names of some of the people involved in a seemingly random knife attack on a crowded Manhattan street, but questions remained.
The police fired at the woman, who was holding two knives, after trying to use less lethal force, officials said. A woman, 32, was killed, and a man, 68, is in stable condition.
