Snowballing opposition to data centers in communities across the U.S. has transformed the midterm election landscape, thrown a wrench into the plans of the world's richest companies and brought President Donald Trump to its defense.

Quarterly revenue also more than doubled, to $96.22 billion, the company said, topping expectations on Wall Street.
